I’m Lalita Chavan, a UI/UX designer currently based in New Jersey.

My most recent design chapter was completing my Master’s in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute in New York City.

I grew up in India, studied design in Australia at Monash University, and later moved to NYC, each place adding a new layer to how I see and approach design.

I design with empathy first, paying attention to how people move, react, and make decisions. My engineering background gives my work structure, while my love for painting adds creativity and expression.

When I’m not designing, I’m experimenting in the kitchen, painting on a canvas, or stopping to pet every cat and dog I meet.
